Artistic Activities to Promote National Identity at the Denshawai Cultural Center in Menoufia

Under the leadership of Dr. Walid Qannoush, the Fine Arts Sector is organizing a series of artistic and cultural events entitled “Awareness Builds a Nation”, supervised by the General Administration for Cultural Activation at the Fine Arts Sector. These events will be held at the Denshawai Cultural Center in Menoufia Governorate on Saturday and Sunday, June 28 and 29, 2025.

The program includes a workshop on designing national awareness posters. Participants will create awareness posters using various design techniques, aiming to promote national spirit and raise awareness about the importance of protecting and preserving the homeland. The posters will include design slogans such as “Protect Your Country,” “Stay Aware,” “Your Awareness is a Responsibility,” and “Hand in Hand.”

Denshawai Museum

The Denshawai Museum documents the memory of the famous Denshawai Incident through photographs, paintings, surrealist and fine art sculptures. Additionally, the Governorate of Menoufia is home to the recently established museum of the late leader Mohamed Anwar El-Sadat, hero of war and peace, located in his birthplace, the village of Mit Abu Al-Kom. The museum houses numerous photos, documents, and personal belongings of the great leader, displayed within his former home. These cultural assets position Menoufia as an attractive destination for visitors and tourists, making tourism a promising future for the governorate.
